My Approach

"My approach to counseling begins with providing a relaxed space focused on you and built on trust and collaboration. My passion is to equip you with tools that lead to empowerment and life satisfaction. Let's uncomplicate things, take a deep breath, and uncover the hard stuff. You'll learn to develop a healthy sense of self under self-compassion. As a graduate of Richmont Graduate University, I am skilled in integrating faith with mental health. My experience includes working with individuals of all ages who struggle with depression, anxiety, and grief. For couples, I specialize in improving communication and managing conflict.
In a warm and supportive environment, I help you connect the origins of present issues to past hurts and traumas. I help you to process and integrate those stories to turn obstacles into positive life changes. I use an integrative approach incorporating psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am trained in Gottman Levels 1 & 2, Gottman's Lesson in Love for Singles, and am certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator. I'm also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for trauma treatment."
